PE Summer Update

It has been an incredibly busy and successful start to the summer term in the PE department. After the first week of rounders fixtures we are currently joint top of the league with St Annes with 3 wins from 3. We have also got 36 students attending the Rounders Enrichment Day aimed to introduce and develop key skills necessary for successful play. Students participated in workshops to develop understanding of key rules, strategies and tactics and competed in a variety of tournament style games.

Some of Year 7 have been fortunate enough to participate in an ‘Olympics’ style event held by Richard Tauntons Sixth Form College. They thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and were impeccably behaved throughout. Well done to all involved and there are few pictures below.

On Wednesday 10th May we competed in the Southampton Schools Swimming Gala. Our students were fantastic and we came back with a return of almost 70% top 3 finishers. Result:
